Genti Postoli is part of the new generation of contemporary Albanian artists. Postoli completed his secondary studies in painting in Korça and his higher studies in Sofia, Bulgaria (2002), at the Academy of Fine Arts. After graduating, he completed a one-year specialization in the restoration of works of art. Genti Postoli works as a restorer at the National Museum of Medieval Art in the city of Korça. He exhibited since he was a student, but as a painter he appeared for the first time at the local exhibition in Korça (1996). The creativity of the artist Genti Postoli is mostly realistic, it is focused on social themes (portraits, compositions), serene natures and landscapes. Postoli is a realist painter, he carefully observes delicate colour transitions, preserves the plasticity of the objects he paints without creating graphic contrasts. In Postoli’s paintings, you can feel the artist’s mastery in light-shadow relations and linear elegance. The artist treats nudes with delicacy, plasticity, while maintaining the fragility of the female beauty.
